Dubai International Airport establishes a strong global connection with approximately 210,000 scheduled flights departing the airport in 2024. According to “Cirium,” an aviation data specialist, the number of scheduled flights through Dubai Airport in 2024 is over 209,700 departing flights.
Analysis by “Simple Flying” indicates that the total number of scheduled departure flights for both Emirates and Flydubai at the airport will reach 138,800, constituting 66.2% of the total departing flights.
The total number of flights at the airport in 2024 could exceed 420,000, considering both arrivals and departures. According to the report, Indian carriers, foreign airlines operating at the airport, topped the list, with IndiGo leading with around 5,490 departing flights, providing over 1.024 million seats. Air India recorded 3,764 flights, while IndiGo Express registered 4,216 flights. Delhi is the primary destination for flights, with 1,673 departing flights, while Mangalore is the main destination for IndiGo Express with 731 departing flights.
The report shows that SpiceJet, the Indian low-cost carrier, is expected to operate around 3,920 departing flights in 2024, providing 736,000 seats.
