3 Ramadan Evenings at Royal Opera House Muscat

The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) has launched evenings of religious chanting and Sufi praises as part of its Ramadan season 2023-2024. These three evenings will be held at the Royal Opera Theatre at the House of Musical Arts.

These evenings will start on Monday, March 18 with the Ibn Arabi band from Morocco with the participation of the Zawiya Band from Amman, on Monday, March 25, the Religious Nasheed Band of the Mevlevis and the Levantines in Syria led by Khalid Al-Araimi from the Sultanate of Oman, and finally on Monday, April 1 with the vocalist Egyptian Ali Hilbawi with his band and choir

Religious chanting and Sufi praises are a kind of invocation that includes love and veneration of God, the call to worship God, and adherence to Islamic values.
