53rd Middle East Watch & Jewellery Exhibition kicks off in Sharjah

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, today inaugurated the 53rd edition of the Middle East Watch & Jewellery Show, the largest event of its kind on the calendar of trade exhibitions specialized in jewellery in the UAE and the region.

The exhibition, organized by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will witness the participation of more than 500 exhibitors representing major international companies and brands in the field of watches, gold, diamonds, precious stones, pearls, emeralds and precious and rare pieces, which will continue to be displayed until the fourth of next February.

Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi toured the exhibition and met with a number of exhibitors and officials of local companies and participating foreign pavilions and listened to an explanation of the latest exhibits, products and technologies used in the gold industry and the prospects of jewelry trade, and was briefed on various designs and innovations in the field of watches, jewelry and precious stones.
