Abu Dhabi – November 3, 2023: Bab Al Qasr Hotel in Abu Dhabi celebrated the UAE Flag Day this morning. The event was attended by Yahya Bakr, the CEO of Emirates and Morocco Trading and Investment LLC – AMROC, the hotel’s owner, the General Manager Nemo Asimovich, the Protocol Manager Marzouq Al Shamsi, and the hotel’s staff.
The celebration included raising the flag on a giant pole in front of the hotel’s façade, and it waved high amid the applause of the attendees who expressed their happiness on this dear national occasion to the hearts of citizens and residents.
Mr. Yahya Bakr said in a speech on this occasion: “We feel a great sense of pride on Flag Day, which symbolizes our belonging and loyalty to our nation under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, may God protect him, and our commitment to the values of unity laid down by the founding father of the nation, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.”
He emphasized that this day reflects the cohesion between the wise leadership and the people, to keep our nation strong and proud, and to keep its flag a symbol of pride and dignity, so that the UAE can continue its blessed journey towards more progress and growth in all economic, urban, and scientific fields. He added, “We are delighted at Bab Al Qasr Hotel, and on behalf of the team, to join the leadership and people of the UAE in celebrating Flag Day, praying to God that our nation’s flag remains high and soaring, and that God protects the wise leadership so that the UAE can continue on its path of glory, prosperity, security, and growth.”
