Emirates Airlines dominated the “ULTRAs 2023” awards ceremony by winning two prestigious awards. It was crowned “Best Airline in the World” and “Best Airline in the Middle East.” Thousands of travelers worldwide voted for the largest international carrier, praising its world-class products, excellent services, and outstanding value for money.

Thomas Ney, Deputy Chief of Service Delivery at Emirates Airlines, received the two awards during a ceremony in Dubai attended by prominent guests, invitees, and industry professionals.

Adel Al Redha, Chief Operating Officer at Emirates Airlines, said, “We are delighted to see Emirates recognized once again as one of the best providers of luxury travel experiences globally. We have not stopped raising standards to the highest levels. Last year, we reintroduced 10 A380 aircraft into service after updating the interior designs and installing Economy Class under our refurbishment program. We expanded our global network to over 140 destinations. While reaffirming our commitment to continuing to provide innovative solutions and products and raising them to higher levels, we thank our loyal customers for consistently choosing to travel with us in a distinctive manner.”

Nicholas Berry, Chairman of ULTRA, stated, “With air travel making a strong comeback after the pandemic, especially in the first and business classes, competition at the market’s forefront is constantly increasing. The focus on quality and available choices for affluent travelers has reached the highest levels. Emirates capturing the Best Airline in the World award for 2023 is truly commendable and a source of pride for them.”

Emirates Airlines continues to invest in developing products and services to ensure its customers have the best air and ground travel experience. They recently opened a new facility at the Dubai International Financial Centre for streamlined travel procedures, expanded their global network with a new service to Montreal, and introduced pre-order meal service, allowing customers to select their meal options before traveling. Additionally, they provide free wireless internet on board for all Skywards Emirates members.

The airline’s victory in these two categories affirms the concept that “travel is not just about the final destination but also about how you get there,” a concept embodied in the brand’s advertising campaign featuring Hollywood star Penélope Cruz.

Emirates Airlines recently won the APEX World Class Airlines 2024 award for providing outstanding customer service and showcasing the highest global standards in safety, well-being, sustainability, and travel experience. The airline also received the International Air Transport Association (IATA) 2024 award for “Best Onboard Comfort,” recognizing its sustainable range of amenities provided to economy class passengers.

Operating the world’s largest fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 wide-body aircraft, Emirates offers spacious cabins and unique features on its A380 aircraft, such as the onboard shower spa and lounge. The airline recently announced a record performance for the first half of the current fiscal year 2023/2024, transporting over 26 million passengers across its extensive network.

Customers on Emirates flights enjoy the warmth of the multinational cabin crew, representing over 160 nationalities, as well as luxurious regional cuisine. The airline provides the award-winning ice (information, communication, and entertainment) system, offering up to 6,500 channels featuring the best movies, TV shows, podcasts, and more.

Emirates’ success in receiving these awards reflects its commitment to delivering exceptional services and maintaining high standards across various aspects of the air travel experience.
