The Global Village, one of the world’s premier cultural parks and the top family destination for culture, entertainment, and shopping in the region, has announced its distinctive New Year celebrations for this year. The park invites families and guests to join and share in its New Year’s Eve celebrations seven times, synchronized with the celebrations of seven countries around the world.
The festivities at Global Village will kick off from the main stage with the launch of breathtaking fireworks displays that will illuminate the destination’s skyline. It starts with the countdown for the New Year in China at 8:00 PM, followed by Thailand at 9:00 PM, Bangladesh at 10:00 PM, India at 10:30 PM, Pakistan at 11:00 PM. The grandest celebrations will occur at midnight in the UAE, and finally, with Turkey at 1:00 AM.
In addition to the exceptional events, entertaining shows, and enchanting fireworks, guests can explore over 90 cultures from around the world. They can enjoy unique shopping experiences in over 3,500 retail outlets, indulge in delectable cuisine at more than 250 diverse food outlets, and witness artistic performances by artists from over 40 countries. With more than 195 thrilling rides, games, and various entertainment destinations, Global Village offers guests immersive family experiences, taking them on a delightful journey to a more enchanting world.
Global Village opens its doors at 4:00 PM, extending working hours until 1:00 AM from December 24th to 30th. On Sunday, December 31, 2023, the park will remain open until 2:00 AM and entry will be exclusive for women and families. This allows guests to enjoy all the New Year celebrations offered by Global Village to welcome the coming year.
