Abdullah Al-Dawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company, said that the number of visitors to Qiddiya City will reach 48 million visitors annually and that the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya is one of the assets that demonstrates the philosophy of Qiddiya City based on “the power of play”, as its uses vary between sports, culture and entertainment.
Al-Dawad added that the assets will be opened successively, the first of which will open in 2025, and that the investment required to build the city of Qiddiya exceeds one trillion riyals.
He stressed that the initial investment through the Public Investment Fund to take the first stage of risks and then open the way to attract local and international investments. With reliance on local and international investments to be an important element for the development of the city.
Qiddiya will contribute more than $35 billion annually to GDP.
