Dubai ranked first in the world as the most searched and requested international destination for hotel stays during the New Year’s occasion and the holiday season last December, according to data from the global search engine «Google», a copy of which was seen by «Emirates Today», and based on the number of times searches for destinations from international markets around the world
In the hotel accommodation search index, Dubai outperformed global destinations such as London, which ranked second, Paris in third place, as well as Las Vegas and New York in fourth and fifth place, according to the Google database.
Dubai was also among the world’s top tourist destinations for demand growth.
