The conference, held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 15 to 19, is attended by more than 100 figures, including business leaders, private sector representatives, and government officials. The UAE’s participation is considered one of the most significant international contributions to Davos and the largest in the history of the country’s participation in the forum.

The UAE’s involvement in this global economic event aims to solidify the country’s leading role on the international stage in various fields of global cooperation and partnerships. This valuable participation contributes to reinforcing the UAE government’s commitment to economic matters, enhancing its global competitiveness across all sectors supporting the national economy, and exchanging experiences that support sustainable national and global economies.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs in the UAE, emphasized, “The UAE’s periodic participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos reflects the significant importance the country places on making positive contributions to international forums across various sectors. Foremost among these is the economic sector, which is a top priority for the UAE and is recognized by all countries, governments, and international entities, given its link to the development, prosperity, and well-being of all peoples, nations, and humanity as a whole,” according to the Emirates News Agency translation.
