The General Authority of Civil Aviation revealed that the size of the aircraft fleets of the UAE national carriers reached 508 aircraft, reaching more than 200 international destinations by the end of 2023
In statements published on its social media platforms as part of the “We Love Our Skies” campaign, the authority explained that Emirates Airlines operates 264 aircraft, representing 52% of the total aircraft operated by national carriers in the country, while Etihad Airways operates 95 aircraft, or 18.7%, and “Flydubai” 84 aircraft, or 16.5%, while “Air Arabia” operates 43 aircraft, “Air Arabia Abu Dhabi” 10 aircraft, and “Wizz Air” 12 aircraft.
