Jumeirah opens first hotel in Saudi Arabia

Emirati hospitality group, Jumeirah, inaugurated its first hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the “Jabal Omar Jumeirah Hotel,” marking the commencement of operations in the second phase of the “Jabal Omar” project in Mecca. This move aligns with Jumeirah’s plans to expand its regional and international portfolio. Designed by Foster + Partners, the hotel features 1,121 rooms, suites, and apartments, along with 8 distinctive dining outlets, and offers 3 meeting and event venues. The hotel was launched with the opening of 507 elegant rooms and suites in a towering tower, providing direct views of the city and the Haram Mosque, in addition to 526 rooms and suites distributed across two easily accessible towers.

Guests at the hotel can also book entire floors, each containing 14 rooms and suites, ensuring the highest levels of privacy. The hotel includes 88 spacious residences within the common podium for the four towers. “Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah” features eight distinctive dining outlets, including the Mediterranean restaurant, Pâtisserie Lounge offering the finest teas and pastries. The hotel will soon introduce an exceptional collection with six unique dining outlets within the eastern and western towers, including a distinctive Arabic restaurant, Persian restaurant, Middle Eastern restaurant, Southeast Asian restaurant, Indian-Pakistani restaurant, and a café offering the finest teas and famous French pastries.
