Global Village has announced that the famous “State Foundation” band will host its special performances on the main stage
Founded in 1989 by Indian-born British drummer Johnny Kalsey, the world-renowned State Foundation has gone from a small traditional drumming class known as Al Marwas to the UK’s first Academy of Traditional Drumming Arts.
The band is renowned for mixing music that combines the drum rhythms of South Asia with Celtic music inspired by Eastern European Celts.
