The activities of the Berlin International Tourism Exchange 2024, which is the largest global tourism exhibition and a platform for exchanging knowledge and expanding commercial networks in the tourism industry, will start tomorrow, Monday, in the German capital, Berlin, and will last several days.
Azzan bin Qassim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, said that Germany is an important tourist market for the Sultanate of Oman and represents the largest European source market for incoming tourists, as the Sultanate of Oman received in 2023 more than 231,363 tourists from Germany.
His Excellency pointed out that the Sultanate of Oman will be the official host country for the 2024 edition of the Berlin International Tourism Exchange, as the host country enjoys a leading position in everything that happens during the exhibition.
