Sharjah embarks on a new journey towards the German capital, to participate in the “Berlin International Travel and Tourism Exchange”, one of the largest specialized tourism exhibitions in the world, which will be held from 5 to 7 March, under the slogan “Together to lead the transformation in the travel and tourism sector”
The list of government and private entities participating this year includes 19 entities under the umbrella of the “Sharjah Pavilion”, including the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, which organizes participation in the exhibition with the aim of consolidating the position of the Emirate of Sharjah as a leading global tourist destination, and these entities include tourism, hotel, cultural and entertainment institutions and facilities.
Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, said: “The rapid changes that the world is witnessing in the tourism sector invite us to be ready for change, renewal, innovation and development, and to keep pace with global developments and trends at the level of hospitality, transport, entertainment and investment in cultural, heritage, natural and other destinations.
