Jordan… Workshop to discuss the supervisory role of tourist restaurants

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tourism Restaurants Association, held a workshop entitled The supervisory and regulatory role played by the Ministry
The Director of the Directorate of Control and Quality Control, Mr. Muhammad Al-Majali, stressed the importance of the ministry’s role in supporting the local economy, and the importance of the restaurant sector as a tributary to it, and that the ministry works in partnership with all sectors to maintain investments, develop and unify inspection and control procedures and identify references.
Majali reviewed the legal framework and legislation in force in the ministry to evaluate tourist establishments such as hotels and tourist restaurants and mechanisms for awareness, guidance and control over them.
The meeting also included ways of cooperation and exchange of views to reach a sector free of violations governed by inspection systems.
