Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Zeyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, Abu Dhabi will host the World Humanitarian Congress Asia 2024 (AVPN) from 23 to 25 April, with the aim of discussing humanitarian action and its dimensions in societies.
The conference will be held for the first time in the West Asia region, reflecting the UAE’s excellence in hosting major international conferences and reinforcing its position as a meeting place between East and West.
The conference will discuss the need to increase development and relief assistance and the challenges it faces, the importance of meeting the basic needs of groups affected by various disasters and crises, optimal investment in providing care, supporting capacities and rehabilitation processes, and reviewing opportunities for partnership and cooperation between donor countries.
