Media sources revealed the appointment of the British company Mace Group to provide consulting services for the management of the King Fahd Sports City project in Riyadh.
Mace Group is the same company responsible for managing the construction of Tottenham’s new stadium.
The plan to develop King Fahd International Stadium to become King Fahd Sports City includes several axes, the most prominent and most important of which are the following: the expansion of the sports field, a detachable and installable track, two courses conforming to FIFA specifications, golf courses, 5 side courts, sports academies, a fan square, shops and restaurants, a sports museum, a bicycle path, the installation of three-dimensional screens and auxiliary playgrounds.
