Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports, said that Dubai Airports has been able to get Dubai International Airport’s flight schedule back on track faster than previously planned, with the airport currently operating an average of 1,400 flights per day. With roads leading to and around the airport completely free of water accumulations, all of our facilities, workforce and logistics are back to normal and at full capacity.

He also explained that 2,155 flights were canceled and another 115 flights were diverted. However, thanks to our tireless efforts and close cooperation with our partners, we have been able to reschedule flights, strengthen the workforce and provide assistance to all passengers affected by flight cancellations or delays, to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers.

Guests are advised to arrive at the terminal just three hours before their flight departure time to avoid unnecessary congestion and facilitate smooth operations.
