AlUla revealed the completion of the activation and operation of all facilities of the luxurious eco-friendly hotel Dar Tantora “The House Hotel”
Hotel facilities include a restaurant, café and health club, which are lit with candles, with irrigation and ventilation systems specially designed to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
The hotel includes 30 hotel rooms, designed in the traditional traditional way of building AlUla’s old houses, where the hotel was rebuilt with traditional tools and taking into account their integration with modern engineering techniques.
Dar Tantora derives its name from Tantora AlUla, the traditional solar sundial located at the entrance of the hotel, which has been a timekeeper for centuries, as it determined the pace of daily life and the cultural rhythm of AlUla’s old town, based on the agricultural seasons, so the hotel was designed in line with the changing seasons and temperature regulation.
