The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project has announced the groundbreaking of Team Aerospace’s new hangar in Dubai South. The facility is planned to be built to the maximum permissible design dimensions, making it one of the largest maintenance, repair and refurbishment hangars in the region, with a capacity of up to five aircraft of any model except the A380. The groundbreaking ceremony was held in the presence of Khalifa Al Zaffin, CEO of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, Taimur Shahab, Founder and CEO of Team Aerospace, along with senior executives from both parties.

The new facility, expected to be completed by 2025, will provide high-quality and cost-effective maintenance services for a range of commercial aircraft, both passenger and cargo.
