Real estate development company “Discovery Land” has announced the addition of its projects in the United Arab Emirates to its diverse international portfolio of properties spread across 35 destinations worldwide, including the United States, Latin America, Europe, and the Caribbean. This expansion includes “Discovery Dunes,” their new and exclusive project in Dubai, the first of its kind in the region, featuring dedicated member-only residential spaces. Spanning over 27 million square feet, “Discovery Dunes” is located in the golf area of Dubai South and is considered the largest urban project in the UAE.
“Discovery Dunes” will feature a private golf course, the first and only one in Dubai designed by Tom Fazio, with an open reservation policy to welcome golf enthusiasts, both beginners and professionals. The project offers various vibrant outdoor activities, allowing participants to enjoy natural landscapes, including archery, rope sliding, wave riding, long-distance walking, skiing, and diving.
Mike Meldman, the founder and chairman of Discovery Land, stated, “We are taking our first steps in the Middle East with the launch of ‘Discovery Dunes’ in Dubai South.”
Situated in expansive surroundings, the “Discovery Dunes” project will collaborate with globally renowned design partners, including Olson Kundig, Killa Design, and Shamalimaud Design, to present a new residential design perspective in the region.
Mohamed Al Awadhi, formerly the head of real estate at Dubai South, has recently been appointed as the CEO of Discovery Land in the Middle East.
