dnata Travel, a travel provider in the UAE, has revealed that international travel bookings from the UAE will double during the Eid Al Fitr holiday in April, compared to last year’s levels.
dnata Travel stated that in the past years, it has witnessed a convergence between the options of “international travel” or “local residency” during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, for residents of the UAE, while this year the number of customers who chose to travel abroad increased by 60% of all bookings, while 40% preferred to book stays within the country.
She added that the most popular destinations for Eid Al Fitr holiday bookings from the UAE are: Maldives, Thailand, Italy, Mauritius and the United States, respectively.
