“The Doha Expo 2023 for Horticulture celebrated ‘Saudi National Day’ at the Expo House area with the presence of His Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Qatar, and Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, the Minister of Municipality in Qatar, along with ambassadors and representatives of participating countries. The day included cultural, heritage, and historical performances that embodied Saudi heritage.
His Excellency Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, highlighted the Kingdom’s participation in the Doha Expo 2023 for Horticulture as a confirmation of its leadership in all fields. He emphasized the achievements made in the journey of Vision 2030, particularly in the agricultural sector, facilitating procedures for farmers and providing guidance through mobile applications.
His Excellency praised the accomplishments of Vision 2030, including the agricultural sector’s journey, where farmers can now obtain guidance through mobile applications. He discussed the facilitations provided by the Agricultural Development Fund through loans and long-term facilities for strategic projects, amounting to 50 billion Saudi riyals. His Excellency also highlighted the Kingdom’s ongoing journey towards sustainability, launching local and international initiatives focusing on clean energy, reducing carbon emissions, increasing green areas, and sustainable waste management.
Mr. Saleh bin Abdulmohsen bin Dakhil, the General Supervisor of the Kingdom’s participation in the exhibition, welcomed the attendees, expressing gratitude to the State of Qatar for hosting and organizing the Doha Expo 2023 for Horticulture. He commended Qatar’s efforts in creating an ideal environment for representing the Kingdom in the exhibition.
Mr. Saleh bin Abdulmohsen bin Dakhil congratulated the Kingdom’s leadership and people on winning the bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh. He praised the visionary directives of the leadership in achieving the inspiring goals of Vision 2030, ensuring a prosperous and sustainable future.
