Dubai Airport continues to lead the world in seat capacity in May

Dubai International Airport maintained its first position globally in the total volume of scheduled seat capacity on departing international flights with a total of more than 5 million seats in May 2024 (10 million seats in both directions), compared to 4.88 million seats in April, a growth of 15%, according to the monthly report issued by OAG, an international provider of airport and airline data.

London Heathrow took second place with 4.2 million seats, 20 per cent less than Dubai International Airport’s capacity, while Amsterdam ranked third globally with 3.5 million seats.
