When it comes to distinctive tourist destinations, it’s hard to beat Dubai. According to Insider Monkey, Dubai ranks 24th among the safest and most outstanding tourist destinations worldwide.
The website mentioned that everything in the city, from cars and hotels to resorts and beaches, is vibrant and full of life. It pointed out that the city’s police drive cars like “McLaren” and “Aston Martin.” Dubai is also home to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, standing at 828 meters with 163 floors. Other notable places to visit in Dubai include its three artificial islands: Palm Jumeirah, The World Islands, and Palm Jebel Ali.
In 2023, Burj Khalifa reclaimed the top spot globally for the second year in a row in terms of ticket sales revenue, surpassing famous landmarks. According to the American website “Bounces,” it is estimated that Burj Khalifa’s ticket sales in 2023 will exceed $748 million (AED 2.74 billion), compared to $622 million in 2022.
Hokkaido topped the global rankings, followed by Hawaii in second place, and Ibiza in third, according to the classification.
