His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, revealed that Dubai welcomed 17 million international visitors in 2023, surpassing all previous figures and with a growth rate of 19.4%.
“In 2023, Dubai welcomed more than 17 million international visitors, surpassing all previous figures and a growth rate of 19.4% to lead the recovery of the tourism sector globally, and Dubai’s hotels recorded occupancy rates of 77.4% in 2023, one of the highest rates in the world, with the capacity of hotel establishments increasing to more than 150,000 rooms… Our ambitions are great and our goals are clear in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to make Dubai among the top three tourist cities at the international level… I welcome all the guests of Dubai and welcome the world to the best place to live, work and visit.”
