A map created using Google search data and released by Remitly, a financial services company for migrants, revealed the names of cities where migrants wish to relocate. Dubai topped the list of cities where most people want to move to.

Searches for “moving to Dubai” reached the highest levels in 60 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia.

Miami, the city along the coast of Florida, ranks second in the city rankings; people from 12 countries, including Greece and Argentina, want to move there.

The French capital, Paris, is in third place, followed by New York in fourth place, alongside Madrid and Singapore, each of which ranked first in eight countries around the world. Toronto ranks sixth.

Remitly researched nearly 164 countries and analyzed the search volume for the phrase “moving to [city],” thus determining the most searched migration destination in each country over the past year.

Commenting on Dubai, Remitly said: “With a wide range of job opportunities, growing infrastructure, excellent healthcare and education, and no income tax, it is clear why Dubai tops the list.”
