The maritime sector in the Dubai Events Insurance Committee contributed to securing 9 marine sites and 14 events during the 2024 New Year’s celebrations, by conducting 16 maritime security patrols that included 176 individuals and divers from the specialized teams in the maritime rescue and maritime security departments, and the participation of 14 boats for strategic partners in the Events Insurance Committee.
Brigadier Hamouda Al Ameri, Head of the Maritime Sector at the Events Insurance Committee in Dubai, stressed that the maritime sector prepared at the sites 48 hours before the start of the New Year’s celebrations, based on the directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, in order to produce the global event in the best way that reflects the ability of the Emirate of Dubai to organize the largest events, and to achieve high readiness and speed of response to any emergency reports.
