Emirates has completed all preparations to offer special services to its customers during the holy month of Ramadan. The airline will provide thousands of Iftar meal boxes for fasting passengers onboard and at boarding gates. Traditional Ramadan dishes will be served in lounges, and the in-flight entertainment system (ice) will feature enhanced religious content, programs, and Ramadan series.

In its lounges at Dubai International Airport, Emirates will offer traditional Arabic sweets, dates, and coffee during Ramadan. First and Business Class lounges will include a selection of hot and cold Arabic appetizers, lentil soup, and main dishes such as mixed Arabic grills with tahini. Desserts will feature kunafa with pistachio cream, saffron basbousa, qatayef with cream and walnuts, and Arabic coffee and date-flavored ice cream or baklava. Additionally, there will be a variety of traditional Arabic sweets and pastries. Emirates lounges also provide prayer rooms and ablution facilities.

For fasting passengers traveling to specific destinations, Emirates will distribute boxes containing water, milk, bananas, and dates at the boarding gates during Iftar times.
