Emirates Airlines has announced its intention to resume its daily service to the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, starting from May 1st via Singapore. This move enhances the carrier’s connections to and from Dubai in the Southeast Asia region, linking two trade and entertainment hubs in the area.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Commercial Operations, stated, “Resuming our daily service to Phnom Penh signifies our commitment to strengthening our network of destinations in Southeast Asia. As part of our continuous efforts to provide customers with more opportunities to explore diverse and culturally rich destinations, it also assists businesses and exporters in enhancing trade links. I would like to thank the authorities in Cambodia and Singapore for their support in launching this new route, and we look forward to offering our customers a vibrant new destination.”

Emirates will operate this flight with a Boeing 777-300ER with a three-class configuration. The flight, EK348, will depart from Dubai at 2:30 AM, arriving in Singapore at 2:05 PM. The aircraft will then continue its journey from Singapore at 3:35 PM, reaching Phnom Penh at 4:35 PM. The return flight, EK349, will depart from Phnom Penh at 8:50 PM, arriving in Singapore at 11:50 PM. Subsequently, the aircraft will take off from Singapore at 1:40 AM the next day, landing in Dubai at 4:55 AM. (All times are local for Dubai, Singapore, and Phnom Penh.)

The flight schedule to Phnom Penh, linked with Singapore, offers convenient timings, providing ideal and efficient opportunities for connecting flights to and from many major destinations in France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, and the United States. With the addition of this new route, Emirates will serve Singapore with four daily flights starting from May 1st.

Emirates SkyCargo also provides airfreight capacity on the Boeing 777-300ER, offering over 300 tons weekly to and from Phnom Penh. This opens up opportunities for major exports from Phnom Penh, such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, and other high-value goods.
