Emirates has announced that it will resume flights to Adelaide, Australia, with daily service restarting between Dubai and the state capital of South Australia from 28 October 2024.
The move will bring Emirates’ services back to Australia to pre-pandemic levels, meet the growing demand for travel to and from the south of the country, and allow customers to easily travel to and through Dubai to more than 140 destinations across Emirates’ global network.
Emirates first launched its service to Adelaide in 2012 and carried more than 165,000 passengers between Dubai and Adelaide in 2019. By early December, Emirates will also resume its second daily flight to Perth, offering the airline 77 weekly flights to Australia, with 68,000 passengers a week to Australia and its seat capacity returning to pre-pandemic levels.
