Abu Dhabi – On December 20, 2023: The Emirates Association for Businesswomen hosted a luncheon today in collaboration with the Bab Al Qasr Hotel in Abu Dhabi to honor people of determination.
The event, attended by Dr. Shafika Al Ameri, Chairperson of the Emirates Association for Businesswomen, several association members, and Mr. Murshid Al Shamsi, Director of Ceremonies at Bab Al Qasr Hotel, saw the participation of over a hundred people of determination from the country.
Dr. Shafika Al Ameri stated on this occasion, “The aim of organizing this event is to provide psychological and social support for individuals in this important category in our society. We are keen to empower and integrate them into social, cultural, and educational activities continuously.”
She explained that the Emirates Association for Businesswomen always seeks to collaborate with national and local institutions to provide psychological care and supportive educational and sports activities for people of determination.
Dr. Shafika Al Ameri praised the collaboration with Bab Al Qasr Hotel, saying, “Such communal activities support this category by understanding their needs, encouraging them to contribute, and highlighting their exceptional abilities and talents for integration into society.”
Mr. Murshid Al Shamsi stated, “We are delighted to collaborate with the Emirates Association for Businesswomen to host this event to support people of determination mentally and socially, as part of the social responsibility placed on the management of Bab Al Qasr Hotel in Abu Dhabi, aligning with the state’s efforts to provide the utmost care for this important segment of our society.”
Dr. Shafika Al Ameri concluded her statement by saying, “The UAE has provided all the needs of people of determination to enhance their self-confidence, creating a nurturing environment and services to improve the quality of life through integration, empowerment, and employment initiatives, contributing to the continued process of building and development in the country.
