A number of related topics and ways to enhance cooperation mechanisms between the two friendly countries in the tourism sector.
France is working to cooperate with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism to develop museums in the Sultanate of Oman due to France’s long experience in this field, and the Sultanate of Oman is one of the best tourist destinations for the French, and companies in the two countries are working to attract more tourists through the establishment of promotional and entertainment offers, especially with regard to hotels and restaurants outside the Governorate of Muscat.
It should also be noted that the number of French tourists coming to the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing an increase year after year, due to the Sultanate’s attractive position for tourists, and France is the first leading foreign market in Europe, and in 2022, tourism agencies in France organized 240 tourist trips to the Sultanate of Oman.
