Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, celebrated the landing of flight EY1 from Abu Dhabi to New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport on Monday 22 April 2024, launching the services of the Airbus A380 superjumbo aircraft featuring the legendary three-room suite The Residence. The Etihad captains waved the UAE and American flags from the cockpit when the plane arrived in New York.
