The Green Planet Dubai, the region’s only indoor rainforest, has unveiled its preparations for the “Winter Celebrations” with special events and activities in the outdoor “Nature Park” from Wednesday, December 6, 2023, until January 7, 2024. Guests can look forward to festive adventures, including an environmentally friendly simulated snowfall experience in the biodegradable dome and the outdoor Nature Park. On Monday, December 11, 2023, the musical performance by the “Jelly and Electro” band from the Art of Music Performing Arts Center will present traditional holiday songs at 4:00 PM.
During this festive period, the destination will welcome children to participate in the Santa Claus Workshop from Friday to Sunday. They will enjoy various activities, including decorating winter celebration cards using sustainable materials to showcase their unique artistic skills. Additionally, children can write letters to Santa Claus, who will choose one letter among all to grant a child’s wish on January 7, 2024.
Adding to the festive atmosphere within the Nature Park, families can capture souvenir selfies with the newly designed green-themed Santa Claus on Fridays to Sundays at 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM. There will also be personal character meet-and-greet sessions in the heart of the Nature Park at 11 AM, 12 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM.
The Green Planet Dubai, in collaboration with the James Education Foundation, will unveil the holiday tree in the Nature Park made from recycled materials, aligning with the UAE’s declared Year of Sustainability and emphasizing the importance of building a greener and more sustainable future.
For food and sweets enthusiasts, a variety of festive treats await at The Green Planet Dubai’s café. The menu includes hot chocolate drinks, turkey and cheese sandwiches, grilled turkey pizza, turkey meals, pastries, and holiday-themed gingerbread cookie decorating activities.
Guests will also discover a selected range of sustainable gifts at the “Winter Celebrations Market,” taking place at the Nature Park from December 8 to 10 and December 15 to 17. Furthermore, The Green Planet Dubai offers the opportunity for fans of exclusive festive gifts to contribute to the “Adopt an Animal” initiative on behalf of their loved ones or purchase The Green Planet Dubai gift cards.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the Winter Celebrations at The Green Planet Dubai, featuring wonderful entertainment and educational activities. Single-day entry tickets are available for AED 69, starting from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For more entertainment, visitors can choose the single-day entry ticket for The Green Planet Dubai, including access to both the biodegradable dome and the Nature Park, for AED 175 per person.
