Dubai Expo announced the organization of the first edition of the “Dhi Dubai” artistic festival in the Wafi Plaza from January 26 to February 4, in strategic partnership with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and “AGBP,” aiming to inspire creativity through light shows in collaboration with prominent Emirati artists.
The festival sheds light on concepts of culture and authentic traditions while enhancing human connections and a love for exploration, drawing inspiration from the architectural masterpiece of Wafi in the heart of Dubai Expo city. It provides an innovative space to showcase the artists’ works before a global audience, focusing on solidifying the roots of pride for local artists, enabling them to launch their creativity and achieve leadership on the global stage.
The “Diy Dubai” festival benefits from the expertise of two prominent specialists in the fields of art and design: Amina Belhoul, Executive Creative Director of Events and Entertainment at Dubai Expo, and global expert Anthony Bastic, specializing in event management. They work together to provide a shared vision and innovative experiences that combine light shows with the authentic heritage of Dubai.
The festival “Diy Dubai” focuses on supporting national talents in the field of light arts as part of its main objectives. It offers them a unique platform to showcase their works to a global audience.
