Major General Pilot “M” Abdullah Al Sayed Al Hashemi, Vice President of the Emirates Golf Federation, announced the participation of the youth teams in the first Gulf Youth Games 2024, from April 16 to May 2, under the slogan “Our Gulf is One… Our youth are promising,” referring to the directives of His Excellency Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Federation, and following up on the progress of work and all hosting requirements.
Al Hashemi explained that the golf competitions in the Gulf Games will be held from April 25 to 28, in coordination with the National Olympic Committee and the Gulf federations, which expressed their readiness to participate in this event, which is being held for the first time for this age group under 18 years.
He added, “We have coordinated with all Gulf federations on the requirements and importance of participating in golf competitions, and the youth team consists of 4 players and the youth team consists of 4 players under 18 years old, in addition to arrangements for organizational, technical and arbitration matters.”
