Ministry of Heritage and Tourism launches the executive program for Sur Capital of Arab Tourism 2024

Coinciding with the Sultanate of Oman’s celebration of the Arab Tourism Day, which falls on February 25 of each year, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism will launch next Sunday the executive program for Sur Capital of Arab Tourism 2024, under the patronage of Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Justice.

The program begins with the inauguration of the Maritime Heritage Festival at 7:30 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Al-Sunisla Fort in the Wilayat of Sur.
It will include folkloric performances that reflect the history and civilization of South Sharqiya Governorate and its broad heritage and cultural contribution deep in history.
The ceremony will be attended by the Minister of Heritage and Tourism Salem Al-Mahrouqi, the Secretary-General of the Arab Tourism Organization Dr. Band bin Fahd Al Fahid, and a number of officials
