OYO achieves 64% year-on-year growth in New Year’s Eve bookings

OYO, the global hospitality technology company, has announced a 64% year-over-year growth in New Year’s Eve bookings across the Gulf countries. Guests flocked to OYO’s homes, apartments, corporate residences, and affiliated hotels to experience distinctive hospitality, ranging from bustling city centers to serene accommodations. OYO achieved its highest New Year’s Eve booking performance in Oman in 2023, with a 244% year-over-year growth, followed by Saudi Arabia with a 59% growth and the United Arab Emirates with a 31% growth. This growth is attributed to the luxury and strategic locations of over 300 fully equipped apartments and homes in key destinations like Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. The luxurious resorts on The Palm in Dubai, particularly the Soneva Jani, were among the preferred destinations for celebrating the New Year.

OYO has entered various partnerships with companies such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Damac, Kreem, Landmark Group, Site Technology, and many others to provide short and long-term rental services for a full year in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As part of these partnerships, OYO offers fully furnished apartments with exclusive amenities such as 24-hour security services and on-demand assistance.

In the UAE, OYO owns more than 25 hotels under brands like OYO Smart and Capital O, becoming a favored choice for celebrating New Year’s due to its proximity to landmarks and special events like the fireworks at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and laser shows and entertainment events at the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi.

OYO has also offered discounts of up to 60% on accommodation across its facilities for Indian tourists planning to celebrate the New Year in Dubai. With a network of over 130 properties, including OYO Smart and OYO Homes, OYO caters to various preferences in prime locations like Marina, Business Bay, Jumeirah, Jebel Ali, and Discovery Gardens.

Furthermore, OYO manages a network of over 750 apartments in Abu Dhabi to assist startups in establishing their headquarters in the UAE. OYO also owns a network of over 30 hotels in Oman under brands such as Smart, Capital O, and OYO Townhouse. In Saudi Arabia, OYO operates over 40 hotels in popular tourist destinations like Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Al Ahsa, Abha, and Khobar.
