Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya Investment Company announced on Friday that the world’s first theme park based on the idea of a series of comics, films and video games Dragon Ball will be built in Saudi Arabia.
The company said in a press release that the park, which revolves around the world of the fictional martial arts player Joko and her friends, will be part of the Qiddiya Investment Project near Riyadh.
The 500,000-square-metre project will feature roaming spaces and attractions in seven Dragon Ball-inspired districts, as well as hotels and restaurants.
