Saudi Minister of Industry begins official visit to the Netherlands for industrial cooperation

In a visit aimed at exploring and expanding joint investment opportunities between Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands, His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, began today an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands;

Alkhorayef is scheduled to meet with a number of ministers and senior officials in the Dutch government, in addition to a number of private sector leaders, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences, and review the investment opportunities provided by the Kingdom in the industrial and mining sectors.

The minister’s itinerary will also include several visits to Dutch factories and companies operating in these sectors in the hope of promoting cooperative projects between private sector entities in both countries.

It is noteworthy that the volume of the Kingdom’s non-oil exports to the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 2023 amounted to about 2.65 billion Saudi riyals, while the volume of the Kingdom’s non-oil imports from the Netherlands reached 8.48 billion Saudi riyals.
