His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, witnessed the launch of the new identity of Sharjah. This identity reflects all its visual and cultural components, expressing its distinctive cultural and artistic heritage. It carries the slogan “Sharjah, More to Explore,” and the launch took place at an event held on Noor Island.
Upon his arrival at the event, His Highness was received by Sheikh Khaled bin Issam Al Qasimi, the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Department, Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Chairman of the Government Relations Department, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Chairman of the Suburbs Affairs Department, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Director-General of the Sharjah Digital Department, Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, the Director-General of the Statistics and Community Development Department, Sheikh Salem bin Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi, the Director-General of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, and Dr. Abdullah Bilhaif Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, along with several senior officials, heads, and directors of government departments, and a gathering of journalists.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi stated that the new identity reflects the wise and insightful vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, who has made Sharjah a leading emirate with a global status, distinguished by various sectors. The launch of the new identity embodies the spirit of the emirate and its ability to offer more in all fields, providing the best services and incentives to support the continuous growth that Sharjah is heading towards.
He pointed out that the new identity was developed by identifying the strengths and distinctive features of Sharjah, showcasing its attractiveness for tourism, living, working, studying, and investing. It serves as an open invitation to the world to explore the richness and diversity that Sharjah possesses, along with the immense opportunities it offers across various cultural, educational, economic, social, and entertainment sectors.
