“Dubai, United Arab Emirates – February 3, 2024: The Dubai World Dental Meeting (DWDM) kicks off today for a three-day duration at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Novotel Dubai. The summit includes a packed schedule of lectures, seminars, and scientific discussions, featuring various workshops that highlight the latest and most significant achievements in the field of dentistry.
This year’s summit hosts 600 participants from around the world, engaging in 25 intensive workshops conducted by a selection of prominent global dental experts. The event serves as an opportunity to enhance continuous education, exchange knowledge, and improve healthcare practices in the dental sector, benefiting both the medical community and patients.
The summit’s agenda covers essential topics related to dental implantation, orthodontics, restorative surgery, cosmetic dentistry, rehabilitation, bone renewal, dental restoration, and the latest methods, techniques, and innovations in dentistry.
Among the highlighted program sessions is a scientific session titled “Pediatric Dentistry: From Primary Stage to Advanced Stage,” and a nerve treatment tools session led by Dr. Mokul S. Jain from India and Dr. Suhaila Suleiman Al-Bahlani from Kuwait. These sessions aim to elevate standards and foster collaboration within the dental community.
Endorsed by the Dubai Health Authority, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, the International Conference for Health Specialties, and the American Dental Association’s Continuing Education Recognition Program, these workshops help refine dental skills and familiarize practitioners with various techniques suitable for different patients, ensuring optimal results.
As part of the educational courses under the umbrella of “Your Hand in Dubai 2024,” the ninth edition of the “AEEDC Dubai Ortho Global Orthodontic Conference” takes place over the final two days of the Dubai World Dental Meeting. The conference addresses various contemporary topics in orthodontics, featuring scientific sessions discussing the latest research and technologies used in the field, including topics such as white spots, digital orthodontics, clear aligners, preventive orthodontics, and more, capturing the interest of dentists and specialists.
These educational sessions aim to provide a comprehensive platform for discussing the latest developments in orthodontics and modern treatment methods. This includes reviewing recent scientific research and exchanging experiences among sector stakeholders and specialists, all aimed at enhancing the level of healthcare and providing high-quality medical services to patients.
These scientific events and specialized educational courses are part of the educational program of the Emirates International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition “Your Hand in Dubai 2024,” the world’s largest event of its kind, expected to attract over 66,000 visitors in the dental field in the region. The 28th edition of this global event is organized by INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions and takes place from February 6 to 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
