Salvaje, whose name means “wild” in Spanish, is renowned for its innovative approach to Japanese cuisine. The new branch of the restaurant in Dubai combines traditions, design, and quality, characteristics that have earned it a prestigious reputation worldwide. Targeting enthusiasts of fine dining and guests seeking an exceptional hospitality experience, Salvaje brings its distinctive dishes and lively atmosphere to the heart of the city for both Dubai residents and visitors to enjoy.

Salvaje opened its first branch in Panama City, and the new Dubai branch joins 12 locations worldwide, making it the second branch in the Middle East after the opening of Salvaje Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia in 2022. Since the opening of its first restaurant, Salvaje has become a global phenomenon in the hospitality industry, attracting major stars and celebrities from around the world. Salvaje provides restaurant-goers with a comprehensive dining experience, captivating them in the evening with enchanting entertainment shows featuring dancers, saxophonists, and DJs, along with fiery dance performances. It’s no wonder that Salvaje is a favorite destination for celebrities and VIPs.

Located in Address Residences Dubai Opera, Salvaje spans two floors, offering unparalleled views of the Burj Khalifa. The restaurant features luxurious decor inspired by the tropical rainforest, designed by the renowned Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. Like all Salvaje restaurants worldwide, vibrant colors, rainforest-inspired patterns, and luxurious materials dominate the decor.

The upper floor of the restaurant accommodates 250 people for lunch and dinner, with a spacious terrace for 70 people providing panoramic views. The lower floor houses the SLVJ lounge, accommodating 190 people with a large outdoor terrace for 50 people. A notable decor element is the group’s logo, a large lifelike golden statue of a river horse, located in one corner of the restaurant. Every aspect of the restaurant captivates with its luxurious rainforest-inspired decor, making it a perfect backdrop for beautiful photographs.

Under the leadership of Chef Fermin Azkue Salvaje, the restaurant combines Japanese culinary traditions with distinctive flavors and cooking styles from around the world. Chef Azkue, a Venezuelan chef, has worked in some of the most renowned restaurants in America, Spain, France, and England, including Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London, before joining Salvaje in Panama in 2018.

Guided by Chef Azkue, Salvaje Dubai offers its unique fusion dishes that bring together Japanese and Spanish cultures with a distinctive touch that considers local tastes. The menu includes luxurious offerings such as Supreme Osetra Caviar, fried rice with duck, along with a selection of luxurious sushi and sashimi, including the famous SLVJ rolls, the freshest seafood, and grilled steak on the robata grill, all prepared from the finest ingredients.

For guests seeking a more exclusive dining experience, Salvaje offers the traditional Japanese Omakase experience, where the chef unleashes his creativity and dazzles guests with the finest custom-prepared dishes in a warm and intimate atmosphere.

Completing the unique dining experience is Salvaje’s beverage expert, Borja Goikoetxea, who adds an artistic touch to the beverage menu. The Salvaje beverage team, under Goikoetxea’s supervision, creates cocktails that satisfy all tastes, with each drink reflecting high artistic sensibilities, from presentation to final touches.

Salvaje is expected to set high standards in the Dubai restaurant scene, becoming the ultimate destination for spending unforgettable moments and enjoying an exceptional dining experience that goes beyond delicious dishes, taking guests on an adventure into the world of culinary delights.
