The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, in partnership with Bank Muscat, Oman’s leading financial institution, will host the “Al Wathba” Ramadan Market at Bank Muscat’s headquarters in Al Mouj, Muscat, for three days starting from Thursday, March 28th until March 30th, 2024. This initiative, held annually as part of Bank Muscat’s corporate social responsibility and community service efforts, aims to encourage entrepreneurs of small home businesses and SMEs to showcase their various products and open new marketing channels, promoting their products and fostering collaboration among all participating entrepreneurs.

The market serves as a platform for SMEs to build and expand their networks, exchange experiences, and introduce visitors to the products they offer. The collaboration between the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority and Bank Muscat seeks to enhance the role of this growing sector, support local activities and projects, and raise awareness about the importance of small enterprises as the backbone of the national economy.

The “Al Wathba” Ramadan Market 2024 will feature the participation of more than 150 small enterprises and home-based projects offering various products, including fashion, health and beauty products, accessories, food items, heritage tools, perfumes, and more. The market focuses on local products in various fields. It will be open to visitors during the evening period from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Given the success of the market in previous years, a wide participation and attendance are expected to explore its contents and purchase various necessities, especially during this holy month, which witnesses active commercial activities. The “Al Wathba” Ramadan Market is known for its popularity and media coverage and is organized days before Eid al-Fitr.
