Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, the fifth edition of the “Government Games” kicks off tomorrow in partnership with DP World at Dubai Festival City and continues until March 3, 2024.
This year’s edition is expected to witness strong competition between participating teams in the categories of “Government Challenge” for men and women, “Community Challenge,” and “City Challenge.”
The participating teams will compete in a new set of 7 challenges, reinforcing the values emphasized by the competition and highlighting the importance of teamwork and achieving a balance between physical strength and strategic thinking.
For the first time, this year’s edition will feature the participation of youngsters aged 10 to 13 within a newly introduced category. This initiative aims to encourage this age group to adopt the values of unity, cooperation, and teamwork through a rich experience that contributes to their personal development.
The youth teams will compete in a series of 7 challenges on the final day of the championship, specially designed to test their physical abilities and mental concentration in line with their age group.
