Miral, the leading developer of destinations and immersive experiences in Abu Dhabi, announced today the expansion of Yas Waterworld on Yas Island to include an additional area of 16,900 square meters, in response to the growing interest of visitors from within the UAE and beyond. Miral plans to complete the construction and expansion by 2025, aiming to increase the capacity of Yas Waterworld by 20% by adding 18 new rides and experiences, bringing the total to over 60.
The distinctive water-themed city, upon its opening, will feature 3.3 kilometers of new slides, including the tallest water slide in the UAE and the first water entertainment game within a water slide complex in the Arabian Gulf region. It will offer an adventurous and thrilling experience as guests slide from a height of 15 meters with more than 20 guests at once.
