Jubail Island in Abu Dhabi celebrated the launch of the Public Arts Program as part of the “Art of Living” art exhibition, which held its second edition this year in collaboration with Architectural Digest Middle East.

The exhibition, reflecting Jubail Island’s commitment to enriching culture and society in Abu Dhabi, featured a collection of artworks from artists around the world, showcased in display villas on Jubail Island. Guests had the opportunity to explore the displayed creative works, discover the upscale villas in the project, and gain insights into the community lifestyle on Jubail Island. They also enjoyed immersive atmospheres of lights, music, and outdoor live performances during the exhibition.

As part of this annual event, Jubail Island introduced the Public Arts Program, a new initiative integrating art with the Jubail Island community and its public spaces amidst breathtaking natural landscapes. Artist Tarek Al Qassouf’s artwork, “Transformative Energy,” was the first piece showcased as part of the program on Jubail Island, unveiled during the “Art of Living” exhibition this year.

Mahmoud Dandashi, CEO of Business at Lead Development, stated, “The Public Arts Program is designed to encourage residents of Jubail Island and its visitors to interact with art on a daily basis. Art has proven its effective ability to stimulate thought, imagination, and emotional appreciation. This program reflects the essence of Jubail Island, adding more charm and beauty, while contributing positively to the community in Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a whole, achieving sustainable impact and legacy for future generations.
