Under the theme “Connection,” the Research and Studies Management at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center is participating in the 21st edition of the “Sharjah Heritage Days,” organized by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage. The event continues until March 3 and takes place in the Heritage Square in the heart of Sharjah, with the participation of 12 Arab and foreign countries and various government entities in the UAE.

Fatima Saif bin Hariz, Director of the Research and Studies Management at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center, emphasized the importance of participating in this significant cultural event. This aligns with the vision and role of the center in preserving the national heritage and passing it down through generations.

Bin Hariz stated, “Our goal of participation is to sustain our national heritage, of which we are proud, and enhance the cultural and intellectual aspects of this heritage by conveying it to as many participants and visitors to the Sharjah Heritage Days as possible.” She emphasized the necessity of having national heritage platforms in such cultural events.

The participation includes a digital platform featuring the latest and most important releases of the center in the fields of culture and heritage. There is also a dedicated corner for the “My Document” initiative, containing a mini-exhibition showcasing some documents that speak and document various historical periods in the history of the United Arab Emirates. The platform also highlights the Ghaf tree as an environmental treasure and a national symbol, presenting a study prepared in both Arabic and English that underscores the significant role of this tree in environmental and climatic preservation, its importance to the people of the Emirates since ancient times, and the country’s efforts to protect it. Additionally, the platform includes a collection of images from the most important heritage events and tournaments organized by the center.
