President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed attends final round of Formula 1 World Championship

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, attended the final round of the Formula 1 World Championship, the “Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for Formula 1 for the 15th season,” held at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

His Highness congratulated all fans of car racing worldwide on the success of concluding the championship and the competitions witnessed during the “Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for Formula 1 for the 2023 season.”

He expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the organizers of the final round of the championship, commending the role of all partners in the success of hosting this global sporting event in the UAE.

The competition was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region; His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in Al Ain; His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; and His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.

Other attendees included His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; His Highness Sheikh Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of the Development Affairs Office and the Families of Martyrs at the Presidential Court; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, along with various sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials, as well as delegations and officials from guest countries and fans from different parts of the world.

At the end of the race, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded the Dutch racer Max Verstappen of Red Bull the title of the final round of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship.
